It fits between 280 and 370: the third born of the GT range is called simply Invictus 320 GT, and wants to combine maneuverability and space, with single or double motorization.
Among the hundreds of news that we will see at the next Cannes Yachting Festival, don’t forget to pay a visit to the new Invictus 320 GT. The Italian shipyard is enjoying great success with their elegant motorboats designed by Christian Grande, and the GT range is certainly among the most iconic ones thanks to the semi-reversed bow and the lines of the deck descending towards the stern, even more streamlined thanks to the shape of the side windows.
Everything you need
The model takes the best from 280 GT, like handling and performance, and 370 GT, with which it shares the use of space to maximize comfort.
The deck layout sports a sundeck in the cockpit that can be expanded using the sofa of the dinette. The latter is served by a table and faces a cabinet that houses a proper kitchenette equipped with refrigerator, ice maker, grill and sink. All hidden behind doors that respect the purity of the lines.
The cockpit can be protected by a (standard) retractable awning; among the options of the Invictus 320 GT, however, there’s a carbon fiber hardtop that can further extend its shade through a perforated fabric supported by carbon poles.
To bow, the large sundeck also features a headrest in order to mimick a proper chaise longue: the area is even cozier thanks to audio speakers and cup holders.
Inside, Invictus 320 GT provides a transformable dinette to port, and a low cabinet to starboard. At the stern, the open-space double berth takes advantage of the good headroom allowed by the architecture of the cockpit (although from outside the lines remain sleek). To complete the interior features there’s a separate heads that will allow weekend-long cruises.
The owner will have the choice of different color options, as customary for Invictus, and the boatyard tells us that starting next season the color range will be further expanded. In addition, the Atelier Invictus program allows to customize a large selection of details.
As for the powertrain, Invictus 320 GT offers a wide range of inboard engines with sterndrive, petrol or diesel, double or single installation, up to a maximum power of 700 hp.
So the debut is September 11th in Cannes, and we have already scheduled our sea trial to tell you how it is and how it handles.
