It’s a variant of the successful Prestige 590 Flybridge: for the 2020 season the brand is launching the Prestige 590S. Still elegant, now sportier.
The Prestige 590S stands out for the dynamic look by Garroni Design. It follows the idea of SportFly boats: a sporty yet elegant boat, featuring a large, electrically sliding opening sunroof over the saloon, but also a (shorter) flybridge. A model where the exterior spaces are prominent, but with an important eye on the interior: long windows in the hull combine with the opening sunroof to flood the Prestige 590S with light.
Up and down
The aft cockpit features an L-shaped sofa with rounded forms, and a further, optional bench seat for relaxation which can extend the solarium. In the same area, the crew cabin (also optional) features a glass window across its length. The hydraulic platform and integrated gangway complement the design, keeping the status of luxury yacht as boaters expect from Prestige brand.
Despite the S in the name, the model also features a quite large flybridge, with a complete helm station with two settees and a large sun bed (the yard states it is as large as the one on Prestige 680). An optional bimini allows to exploit the sun deck even when it’s really hot.
Moving to the main level, the aft cockpit opens entirely to the interior living space: the absence of steps, the sliding door and the central galley aim at offering the best freedom of movement and, therefore, livability during navigation and at anchor. On the interior, the impression is amplified by large windows and direct access to the wrap-around cockpit bar. The side door near the helm station provides ventilation and easy access to the passageway.
To complete the features and further enhance versatility, here’s a drop-down table in the cockpit and a sun awning supported by four carbon fiber poles on the foredeck.

And what about the night accommodation? Prestige 590S is quite wide and sports long windows in the hull, so life should be comfortable even belowdecks. The owner’s cabin, in the typical brand’s design, is directly accessible by an independent staircase from the main salon. This suite features a private bathroom over the entire width of the cabin, as well as a spacious walk-in closet.
In addition 590S offers another two cabins and a bathroom. But, the walk-in closet in the VIP cabin can be configured as a third private bathroom, according to individual preferences.
