The restyled Italian flybridge suggests the new “Just like home” payoff. According to this, Ferretti 920 Pure combines elegance, style, and comfort.
It is not a brand new model. Still, what Ferretti introduced at the latest Cannes Yachting Festival, named 920 Pure, is a profound interior restyling. The new line that accompanies this and likely upcoming models is “just like home”, and donesn’t need to be explained.
The layout and tech specs are the same of the previous model. Where Pure is different is in the new lines of the interiors, which are cleaner, softer, and more essential, and the materials, which are simpler and more refined. The result is a yacht that offers a sensation of well-being that accompanies the guests through all the spaces, at anchor and in navigation.
The warm colors of the new materials and fabrics make the atmosphere onboard Ferretti 920 Pure more welcoming. The white lacquered ceilings combine with the bleached oak floors, the leather upholstered furniture, the details in sand, cashmere, and sepia color, and the light-hue marble. The desired harmony comes by the selection of a reduced number of materials, essential and refined.
The lounge on the main deck features bleached oak parquet flooring, and is furnished by Minotti: an L-shaped sofa in the cord color with a melange effect, an armchair that reflects the classic design of the ’50s with dark leather upholstery combined with a peculiar ottoman. The lounge is completed by a coffee table with a sculptural imprint which like yin & yang joins the two sides of the yacht, refined and modern.
In the dining area a round table with simple lines sports a shiny chrome base that echoes the stainless steel profile of the custom-made doors of the furniture, and is surrounded by dining chairs upholstered in mélange ash, in a blend of formal elegance and comfort.
In the Ferretti Yachts 920 Pure, the raised forward section of the hull allowed to introduce a wide-body master suite on the main deck. Supported by a structure with base in striated walnut topped with a light-colored leather finish, the bed is enriched by the Minotti fabrics used for the pillows and headboard in gray shades. A large mirror over the bed emphasizes the size of the cabin. The furnishing is completed by a large walk-in closet and an ocean blue sofa by Minotti, an evocation of the sea view that can be admired from the large windows.
To complete the apartment, the full-beam bathroom is abow, on a slightly lowered level, and is divided in three zones. The entire heads, from the built-in washbasins to the shower walls to the heated floor, is covered in a light-colored marble.
Moving to the lower deck there’s the three en-suite guest cabins: a full-beam double suite aft, and a second VIP suite on the port side. A third cabin with single beds completes the sleeping area. The furnishing features the same interplay of materials and colors as the upper deck, including the Minotti headboards in graphite-toned Kabuki fabric used in the master cabin. Special attention is paid to the crew: in addition to a dinette with laundry area, the captain can enjoy a private cabin, and the crew are housed in two double cabins with a shared bathroom fitted with separate shower.
The exterior areas of Ferretti 920 Pure offer an impressive amount of spaces for relaxation, with freestanding furniture by Roda. The sun pad on the deckhouse leads into a dinette fitted with two forward-facing couches and a pair of sofas with adjustable backrests along the bulwark. This creates a large lounge, complete with coffee tables, which can be protected and shaded by a sun canopy upon request.
The flybridge is a panoramic deck dedicated to relaxation, and is covered by a hard top overlooking the dining area and the outdoor helm station. The bar unit below can be configured to suit the specific needs of the owner, and features two bar stools from Roda.
As for the cockpit, there’s a multipurpose sofa, which can be used as a sunpad or as a seat for the custom outdoor dining table in teak with steel inserts, accompanied by five teak chairs from Roda. At the stern is the submersible hatch, the signature system used to move the garage door and swimming platform, offering guests all the comfort of a spacious beach club and allowing the crew to easily manage a tender measuring up to four meters long.
