Endurance 60 by Pardo Yachts: exploring new horizons

After the sparkling debut of Cantiere del Pardo in the world of motorboats (three open cruisers carrying the Pardo Yachts brand), the builder goes further, into the world of semi-displacement motoryachts. here’s the Endurance 60 project, which will debut in 2021. Opening gunwales and large outdoor and indoor spaces for a project by Davide Leone and Nauta Design.

In two and a half years Pardo Yachts (a brand born in 2017 from the Italian Cantiere Del Pardo, an historic builder of sail boats) has launched three power models and sold over 100 units. At 2020 Düsseldorf Boot they even won the “Best Boat of the Year” Award with Pardo 38. And, they also introduced their model: the Endurance 60.

We’ll have to wait another year

It’s a flybridge yacht inspired by trawlers, and, as the name Endurance suggests, it’s made for long cruising. The first unit of Endurance 60 will be ready in November, and will make its official debut at 2021 Boot.

In the engine bay there will be two 700 or 800 hp Volvo Penta Ips engines, with the chance of installing the DPS (Dynamic Positioning System) which allows to “lock” the GPS position of the boat, further simplifying the mooring maneuvers in case of small crew.
Low consumption, a relatively reduced pace and a silent navigation will make of Pardo Endurance 60 Bassi a boat with an eye on environmental sustainability.

One of the key points of the Endurance 60 project is the cockpit, whose bulwarks can tilt down onto the sea and expand the space up to 33 square meters. At the stern the swim platform can be hydraulically lowered to easily launch the tender.

From outside it’s hard to tell that the Pardo Endurance 60 has a flybridge, as the deck is very low on the profile: this is an advantage not only for the look, but also for handling, as it lowers the center of gravity. This bridge can be equipped according to the owner’s needs with a sofa, sundeck, refrigerator and a second helm station protected by a reverse windshield.

The interior design is signed by Nauta Design, as for the sailing boats of Cantiere del Pardo. The studio created a fresh and bright style, which combines white lacquered surfaces and blond teak: the latter is a contemporary reinterpretation of the typical marine wood.

The salon on the main deck features the galley and a wet bar close to the aft cockpit, for added functionality, while dining and lounge are moved forward on a raised level for a panoramic view. The pilothouse’s side door is extremely functional not only when maneuvering but also in navigation and at anchor. And, the large windows not only let plenty of light into the salon, but also guarantee an excellent view to the captain.

The lower deck sports three cabins with en-suite: the owner’s room is amidships and takes the full beam, then there’s a VIP cabin to bow and a third one on the side with two single beds. Under the stern sundeck, the crew cabin is accessible from the engine room.
