The new Wider 32, designed by Fulvio De Simoni, likes to play with the look. But this is just the first feature to the eye of the beholder. The other peculiarity is undoubtedly the multi-purpose destination. It can be the tender to a superyacht, or a sleek and fast open for daily cruising, or even a small weekender thanks to her cabin and the B-class certification.
Stepping aboard you immediately realize how functional the cockpit is: according to the need of the moment the layout can be changed within seconds. So, one moment you have a full beam C-shaped dinette, and the moment after there’s a solarium from transom to the middle. Belowdecks, the cabin offers two facing couches that become two single berths, while the galley is hidden inside a cabinet and features a sink, refrigerator and a glass-ceramic stove. There’s a separate head as well, and it’s pretty roomy too.
More, the Wider 32 is almost fully-customizable. The owner can choose among a variety of colors for hull and deck, different windows and frames, sun pads and seat configuration, fabric and accessories, so the final result will be tailor made and one of a kind.
Either you go for an elegant or a sporty configuration, the Wider 32 will grant top performance. The powertrain consists of two MerCruiser 260 HP units, with Bravo I DTS sterndrives, and allows for a top speed of 37 knots and a cruise of around 30, with a range of 200 nm while loaded at 1/3.
The new Wider 32 is also nominated for the European Powerboat of the Year 2015 Award, the prestigious trophy assigned by a jury of eight among the top boating media in Europe, including BoatMag. The winner will be announced and awarded next January during the Düsseldorf Boat Show.
