The 80 Sunreef Power Eco is a fully-customizable luxury catamaran, which uses the latest innovations in the industry to achieve the best possible energy efficiency.
Even in times when it’s not the top priority, also because the oil price literally plummeted, green mobility is always a trend topic. We don’t have a Planet B and sustainability must be taken into maximum consideration. Enough with known cliches: time to introduce a really green yacht, with the long and difficult name of 80 Sunreef Power Eco.
Green (and white, and other colors) luxury
The 24m catamaran built by the Polish shipyard features a light solar power system covering up to 200m², maximizing solar energy generation with 40kWp of capacity.
Her state of the art, ultralight battery bank (namely, 30% lighter than the average batteries used in the nautical industry) has a density of less than 6kg / kWh for increased weight-efficiency and performance.
80 Sunreef Power provides for silent cruising and potentially infinite range, with electric engines powered from the dedicated battery bank. The hybrid version of the 80 Sunreef Power can combine the advantages of electric motoring with those of endothermic engines. More, the catamaran can be fitted with a kite for even more performance and autonomy.
Green features on board Sunreef Power 80 include a DC-powered air conditioning system, a watermaker and purifier to generate drinking water, a non-toxic bottom paint and natural composite structures. Aiming at being fully custom, the luxurious electric catamaran offers several decor possibilities and access to a broad selection of ethically-sourced and eco-responsible finishing materials.
