Benetti have just announced two important launches: one is the eleventh unit of the fiberglass Delfino 95, the other is a fully custom superyacht named Zazou and 65 meter long. Let’s start from the latter.
65m Zazou for a repeat customer
The steel hull of Zazou was painted at the request of the owner, a repeat Benetti customer, in an elegant carinthia blue color; and the superstructure is made with aluminum. The external lines are by Giorgio M. Cassetta and the interiors, as well as some of the external spaces, are by the Dutch studio Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design.
The yacht, which accommodates 12 people in 6 double cabins, features a large sun deck with a gym, a 5-meter-long infinity pool and an outdoor cinema on top of another cinema area on the main deck.
Two Caterpillar 3512C engines allow Benetti Zazou to navigate autonomously for 5,000 miles at a cruising speed of 15 knots.
The rooms are distinguished by a refined style, characterized by soft tones and the alternation of precious materials among which multiple woods (oak, walnut, anigrè, macassar ebony, wengè and rosewood), marbles (travertine, navona, statuary, eramosa, bardiglio, white elba, sahara noire, white onyx) and different types of leathers and natural fabrics stand out.
On the upper deck, the sky lounge integrates with the aft outdoor spaces and their custom furniture. Inside a massage room converts into a double VIP cabin and precedes the wheelhouse, the adjacent ship office, the captain’s cabin and a pantry.
Inside the main deck, the living area consists of a dining and relaxation space furnished in light colors. It can be transformed into a cinema room complete with every comfort.
Also on the main deck, the owner’s suite sports a lounge area with TV, double wardrobe, a large bed with a second TV. On the port side there’s a large bathroom and a private balcony, accessible by a sliding door, furnished with a small table and two armchairs.
The large beach area of the lower deck boasts two openings on the outside. In enclosed part of the beach club, a storage space for water toys is nearby a lounge area with table, sofa and armchairs. The sleeping area amidships includes three double cabins and one guest that can be converted into a double, thanks to sliding beds.
Also on this deck is the galley and the accommodations for 14 crew members.
An elevator connects the bridges between the lower and the upper deck. The garage, forward of the main deck, houses a 7.5 meter tender, two jetskis and a rescue tender.
The yacht will be delivered to her owner in the summer season.
The eleventh Delfino 95 will be based in Malta
Her internal code is BD111, which is not that undecipherable as she is the eleventh unit of Benetti Delfino. This particular Delfino 95 is a joint work of many. Giorgio M. Cassetta designed the sinuous and dynamic external lines, which blend with the bright interiors, developed by the Benetti Interior Style department. The naval architecture was developed by studio Plana – Pierluigi Ausonio naval architecture.
BD111 accommodates ten guests across three decks. Normally any leisure yacht features six cabins for 12 guests, but for Benetti Delfino 95 the choice is for five cabins excluding the crew quarters.
The main saloon and galley, located centrally on the main deck, precede the full beam owner’s cabin. Four VIP cabins on the lower deck enjoy privacy in a separate area from the three forward cabins, which house the five crew members.
According to the shipyard, Benetti Delfino 95 BD111 has a cruising speed of ten knots, and an impressive range of 2,320 nautical miles at that pace.
Benetti launches M/Y Joy, the second Oasis 40 m unit
The yacht is owned by SeaNet Europe Ltd, a Yacht Co-ownership company based in Malta, which now boasts a fleet of four Azimut|Benetti yachts.
Benetti Delfino 95 is almost 29 meters long and 7 meters wide, for a draft of 1.9 meters. Built in fiberglass for both hull and superstructure, her displacement is just shy of 140 tonnes at full load.
