“A super tender for mega yachts”: that’s the payoff for the new Strider 19, new Sacs Marine flagship. They claim it’s the larger ever built
Born from the creativity of Christian Grande DesignWorks in cooperation with New Zealander Studio Naiad, who took care of the hull, Strider 19 is claimed to be the largest tender ever built, a luxurious rib whose destination is to serve mega yachts. This is at least the end use of the first unit, that will be on a 77 meters ship in her cruises around the world.
Of course Strider 19 has been built with the latest technology and refined with cure and elegance like every “Made in Italy” product. Length overall is 18.30 mt for a beam of 5.45 (60 ft x 17 ft 10 in) and a draft of 1.10 (3 ft 7 in). Fuel and fresh water reserves are 3000 and 300 liters (792 and 79 US gal). Displacement with engines stops at 21.6 tons and passengers can be max 22.
Features such as the deep-V hull and low center of gravity make it extremely fast and safe in every sea condition. It can mount up to 2400 HP, with the first unit boasting two CAT 1150 HP each for a top speed of 50 knots and cruise over 45 (57 and 52 mph).
On the deck there’s much space for sun bathing, while cockpit, benches and tables offer a comfy and ample living area. The outdoor galley, in addition to the optional one indoor, is complete with everything is necessary for partying and dining on board.
The helm station is well sheltered and allows long and fast cruises in safety and comfort. The embracing windshield protects four anatomic seats, and two side doors further close the pilothouse.
Layout and furniture can be chosen by the owner, same as the interiors, making the Strider 19 by Sacs Marine a real custom made rib. Belowdecks there’s room for a dinette, a bathroom, and two large cabins, one double and one with three berths.
