Otam Yachts announced the sale of Otam SD35 number one, a full aluminum semi-displacement yacht. Designed by Tommaso Spadolini, it’s a tri-deck 35,2 meters long and 7.80 wide (115 ft by 25 ft), built for an experienced Italian customer looking for a semi-custom yacht, made in aluminum according to his needs.

The new SD35 will host 10 guests in five cabins, plus the owner’s apartment located on the upper deck. In addition, there will be four cabins for six crew.
The engineering know-how that the shipyard has gained by designing and building the Millenium fast range have been combined with the expertise of their long-time partner Umberto Tagliavini naval architect.

They developed a semi-displacement, very efficient hull, featuring Zero Speed stabilizers, capable of good performance at fast and slow pace. The SD35 will reach a top speed of 22 knots, but she will cruise at 11 with a range of 1000 nautical miles. The propulsion comes from two CAT Acert C32, 1900 HP each.
Building has started in Genova facility, with delivery planned for June 30th 2016.
