The innovative Yamaha F130A is a further proposal from the Japanese builder for the boater who wants an ever more compact and light engine.
The new Yamaha F130A targets the customer who is looking for an outboard – either to replace an old unit or to boost his new boat, and wants to go for a compact and light engine whose power stays in the middle between the F115 and the F150.
With its unique and peculiar power output, the F130A is so light and small to be comparable to 2-stroke units, so it can easily replace older, bigger and heavier outboards with the same power, or size-like ones with much less HP.
Weighing only 174 Kg, the new Yamaha F130A boasts many of the latest features adopted on the last generation engines, aimed to make them innovative and user friendly. Here’s four of the main:
Digital Network System, that gives advantages among which the availability of a complete and good looking instrument panel;
Variable Trolling RPM Speed Control, activated at the click of a button, to precisely control the revs among 600 and 1000 rpm at 50 by 50 steps, for trolling fishing;
Exclusive anti-theft Customer Outboard Protection (Y-COP) that boasts the same level of security of a car, as it stops the engine until the start (which requires just to push a button);
New standard Talon propeller, with a peculiar blade design and a suspension system to reduce noise and vibration, for a quiet and smooth ride.
