The Fantom, by the hand of her designer, summarizes all the peculiar traits of the brand, but moving up another step in terms of technology and look.
The vertical bow is a must for Frauscher, almost a trade mark: now it goes along with a hefty bow and a sleek stern, the two areas being highlighted by the steel profile along the sides. This strake goes down to the transom and ends by the swim platform, which is fully integrated and not visible in the side view. The only part that doesn’t merge in the design is the windshield, low but extremely protective.

The Fantom 858 feels like a big boat: the engine revs up to over 5,000 rpm (38 knots) with the sterndrive down, then we work on the trim and get to 6,000 rpm and 48 knots. Considering that the lake is not properly calm, it’s a very relevant figure.
