The 2015 edition of the Genoa Boat Show will be more innovative than ever. It will open its doors at Genova Fiere, the Exhibition Area of the Ligurian city, from September the 30th to October the 5th.
The new Genoa Boat Show 2015 will be even more open to the world of watersports and outdoor activities. Not just boats, accessories, engines, but also diving, game fishing, surfing, tourism and charter.
Don’t worry: the core of the show will be boats, with the main models from international manufacturers at display in docks and pavilions. Further spaces will be dedicated to sea trials, with a particular focus on small and medium power boats. In this way, the organizers target visitors who don’t own a boat, but just because they never had the chance to realize how it is possible to become a boater in an affordable way.
The new Grande Darsena (grand dock) will be reorganized with circular pontoons in order to allow visitors to see megayachts from a (floating) different point of view.
A new environment has been designed for the pavilion that will host accessories, marine electronics and engines.
Then, to further entertain the public, a number of initiatives will take place at the Teatro del Mare (Arena of the Sea), under the large tensile structure.
And talking of this, there’s a gem for this edition of the Nautico: you don’t want to miss the exhibition of all the boats that raced in the last Volvo Ocean Race. This round-the-world regatta is one of the hardest, longest and most famous, so a wide screen called The Dome will broadcast the most spectacular images of the race. One real-scale model of a VOR hull will be also open for visits. And, for the first time, a competition called “In Port Reunion Race Event” will take place during the Genoa Boat Show 2015, in the interval among two editions of the round-the-world regatta.
The focus of the 2015 edition will be innovation in technology and product, beside an improvement in the internationalization process that will involve buyers and media, with the aim to increase the business opportunities and the visibility of the show.
A close partnership with Expo 2015 has been signed and the Italian Pavilion of the world exhibition in Milan will host in September a press conference to announce the last news from Genoa Boat Show.
