She’s already on her way to Miami, to be delivered to her American owner: she’s the new Rio Granturismo 56, 18 meters and flagship in the open range of the Italian shipyard.
This is a benchmark for Rio Yachts, as with this model they decide to enter the semi-custom world. And in doing this, they move the bar up…in moving it down: so far, the chance to customize a yacht was possible only above the 65-70 feet threshold.
Based on the Colorado 54, the new Granturismo 56 was born to satisfy the request of her owner, who wanted an exclusive model in terms of trims, color, finishing, on-board systems and layout. The shipyard created then a specific team of professionals and supplying companies, in order to work on the different and specific aspects of the project. Among the brands involved, Armani Casa Textile by Rubelli for the fabrics, Antolini for the marble, Besenzoni for the helm station, and Fusion for the mighty audio system.
The photos show the result and explain better than words: the three cabins and the main salon offer elegant solutions in terms of design and furnishing.
