Two world debuts and – a European – for Benetti at 2015 Monaco Yacht Show, in Montecarlo 23 to 26 of September. The shipyard also announces the sale of a displacing 57 meters from the Custom series.
It’s been an intense summer season for Benetti, as they’re going to move on the docks of Monaco Yacht Show with three maxiyachts: FB265 MY 11/11, FB255 M/Y Formosa and BF 203 M/Y H, and at the same time they announce the deal for FB271, a 57-meter displacing hull from the Custom range.
FB265 MY 11/11
This mega-yacht is built in steel and aluminum and measures 63 meters, in a peculiar design with vertical.
The priority with the layout was for two large double rooms, one full beam on the main deck and a second one on the upper level with private access, pool and solarium. The lower deck hosts four guest cabins with en-suite. Two CAT 3512C deliver 1350 Kw each and allow to reach around 17 knots at full steam.
FB255 M/Y Formosa
The steel and aluminum hull of Formosa, whose exterior styling and naval architecture have been entirely designed by Benetti, features five decks along her 60 meters, with a beam of 10.6. The distribution and design of indoor spaces are by Sinot Design studio, in cooperation with the owner. Five suites and a full owner’s deck; plus space for 14 crew and the captain. M/Y Formosa FB255 is powered by two MTU 12V4000 M53, 1.380Kw, for a top speed of 16 knots and a cruise around 15; while at 12 knots the range is 5000 nautical miles.
BF 203 M/Y H
It’s the third hull of the Fast Displacement Veloce 140’ series, sporting a new design solution to enhance efficiency of the D2P (Displacemet to planning) hull. It consists of a bulb in front of the hull, called Wave Piercer, which works over 17-18 knots but remains underwater at lower, displacing pace. Power comes from two units delivering 2580 Kw each. As for the inner layout, there’s four cabins for guests on the lower deck, and a master’s apartment on the main level; still on the same deck there’s the large salon with bar and the helm station sporting large side windows.
Ready in 2018
Benetti announces the finalization of the sale of a displacing, 57-meter yacht from the Custom series. FB271 has been developed and specced in cooperation with Imperial, who designed the interiors as by owner’s guidelines along with naval architect Luca Dini. Delivery is scheduled for 2018.
