It’s not a partnership like the Riva Ferrari 32, cruiser born in the ‘80s: in this case we’re talking of a sponsorship agreement for Formula 1 Scuderia Ferrari.
Two legends, two great examples of “Made in Italy” for the first time together in Formula 1. But it’s the second time the two Companies get together, as it was in the Eighties with the fast cruiser Riva Ferrari 32: a ten-meter boat, of course in Ferrari Red and with the Prancing Horse logo on the side, even though the engine was a BPM 8-liter V8. In case you are interested, the unit in the photo will be auctioned by Sotheby’s on May 14th, during the Monaco Historic Grand Prix.
Riva on Vettel’s and Raikkonen’s helmets
Riva and Ferrari will race together for the 21 Grand Prixes of the 2016 Formula 1 season. The sponsorship has been unveiled in Maranello (Modena), when the new SF16-H made her debut with an on-line presentation. The unmistakable Riva logo with the marine blue color will be emblazoned on the sides of the helmets worn by Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen.

The appointment is for the first event of the season, the Rolex Australian Grand Prix, to be held in Melbourne and scheduled March 18th to 20th. The challenge will go on for 21 races and will have the grand final in the UAE, on November 27th 2016, with the Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Gran Prix..
