Here’s the preview of Invictus 240FX. For no it’s renderings, but it will debut at 2016 Cannes Yachting Festival.
It still has to come to life, but the new Invictus 240FX has already won its challenge. The success of its siblings, like 280GT and 270 FX already tested by BoatMag International, and the proactivity of their dealers such as Nautica Bertelli, exclusive distributor for Switzerland, Austria, Northern Italy and Southern Germany, grant the new model a certain success even before touching the water.
Invictus 240FX, style and versatility
The first point with Invictus 240FX is that you’re going to buy a boat which has nothing to envy to larger models, in terms of finishing, features and quality of materials. Part of the merit goes to designer Christian Grande, who defined the look of this model and all the rest of the Invictus range. The rest is on a simple yet functional layout, with a total length of 7.45 meters overall and a fast, marine hull designed to exploit all the power of the outboard engine (250 HP). Last but not least, a common feature for all the invictus models: a very convenient price despite the overall quality. In thiscase, we are talking of around € 33,000.
Invictus 240FX will be available in the “leisure” or “fishing” configurations, to remark its versatility. The main difference is in the fore cockpit, which can feature a sofa along the gunwale, or remain clear for anglers. As seen on the 270FX, the helm station is designed to be good looking and ergonomic. There’s also a small cabin underneath, and an optional potty is available. Many details underline the sporty but multi-purpose destination of this boat: the aft bench turns into a sun bed by tilting the back, while the space under the pilot’s seat is closed by a rolling shutter and houses a custom cooler.
All the space on the deck is used in the best way, with lockers and stowage all around for a relaxing or sporty day on board. Invictus 240FX even features a well for the catch or for water skis, then holders for fishing rods or for the bimini poles, and a telescopic table to fore, ideal to create the dinette with the U shaped couch.
To aft of the “fishing” version it’s possible to replace the bench with a stand-up cabinet sporting a sink, a livebait well and a gear locker, completed with four specific rod holders. An optional bimini top features polished steel structure and even high and low rod holders.
