Hodgdon Limo Tender is hull #422 from the Yard,and 10th tender built since 2011. It belongs to Hodgdon Custom Tenders Venetian series.
With this Hodgdon Limo Tender the American boat manufacturer turns 200: two centuries building superyachts and tenders with fine materials and innovative methods, as for the company it is fundamental to blend tradition and technology. The outcome is a vessel close to excellence in performance, construction, and aesthetic. The Hodgdon limo tender, part of the Venetian series, is the 422nd boat built by the yard and the 10th tender from the specific division of the company.
Hodgdon limo tender: once again, fully customized
Designed by Michael Peters Yacht Design, this new Hodgdon LIMO tender features a specific exterior paint scheme with optional leather and specialty wood veneer interior. It can accommodate up to 11 guests, with the comfort given by a high definition entertainment system, refrigerator/bar, and climate control.
The port and starboard side windows power down, to facilitate guest boarding access. The entire salon hardtop rises hydraulically, which allows full-height headroom, for ease of boarding and 360 degrees of visibility. Much of the exterior stainless steel hardware, including the Hodgdon signature flush anchor are custom built, and hand mounted.
While building Hodgdon Limo Tender, the yard’s joinery division combined handcrafted woodworking with modern composite materials. A high level of attention was given to the layout and installation of mechanical, electrical, and safety systems, resulting in a tender whose composition is of unquestionable quality. These elements combined with the design of the hull create a ride that is fast and smooth at the same time.
