SuperOcean 58: an important step for Scanner

At Scanner Marine the moment was right for this fundamental leap. After the consensus received by the maxi-ribs, it was time to enter a new segment: a prestigious one, with many points in common with what they have done so far. First of all, the quality of the project, once bestowed to Montemitro Design. Then the care in working the materials which is a typical plus from Scanner, Finally, the seaworthiness of the hulls, fast with calm sea and safe in chopped water.

SuperOcean 58 could become the ideal maxi-tender for a superyacht, or an exclusive fast cruiser: it is soon to tell, although sure it will please her owner in either case. The 18 meters of length feature a complete open deck and three cabins (plus crew quarter). Performance is on twin MAN engines for a total of 2000 HP, coupled to Jolly Drive Marine surface drives for top performance. To recall some “rib look”, the thick rubber strake all around the boat perimeter.

The deck of SuperOcean 58 sports two large solariums to aft, with a center passageway to the swim platform. The cockpit is also divided in two parts with isle in the middle: it features to L-couches ending with a chaise longue and two tables. The helm station is to starboard, while port is the side of the hatchway. To bow, another large solarium is completed with a double, front facing bench.
Inside there’s no less than three cabins: the master is to the fore, while amidships there’s space for a dinette and the galley.

The VIP cabin is abaft, while the third is to starboard and offers two bunk beds. All of them have their own en-suite. With access from the cockpit, the crew cabin is on the port side far enough from the engine room.
