With Bavaria R40, the German boatyard embraces a new build philosophy, aiming to quality of materials and latest technologies.
The new Bavaria 40 is characterized by sleek lines and a luxurious look, with one key word: quality. The materials are top-end, and technology is the most updated: the refined style is the work of Robert Chaffer, many years with Princess Yacht, now in Bavaria to set new quality standards.
Bavaria R40: luxury and technology
A glance is enough to understand how the new Bavaria R40 marks a decisive step forward for the German shipyard; what is confirmed is the solution to offer the new model in Flybridge and Coupe versions.
The interiors sport two cabins with double beds and two heads with ceramic sinks, electric WC and separate shower. All the rooms feature plenty of space and light thanks to the windows on the hull sides.
On the main deck, a large sun bed to fore features adjustable backrests and and integrated bimini; while on the Fly version there’s much additional space on the sun bridge. On both models the cockpit doors can be completely opened, creating a single large space.
Everything has been designed with care: from the ergonomic helm station with three individual seats, to the large galley in the cockpit with worktop, cockpit fridge and hob with sink, not to mention the increased platform with 250 kg tenderlift.
The hull of Bavaria R40 is a new design by J&J. Electric power-steering and trim control ensure good responsiveness at the helm, maintaining a safe and comfortable driving all the time. The two Volvo Penta D6-370 engines allow to reach a top speed of 35 knots, but there’s a more powerful choice with Volvo Penta D6-400.
Hull, deck and flybridge of Bavaria R40 are resin-infused, to grant an even weight, higher quality and greater rigidity than traditional fiberglass layering. In addition, the two cabins, heads and wiring are all built outside the hull: the entire module, when completed, is placed into the hull, thus ensuring a high build construction and easy maintenance.
