At Genoa Boat Show ZAR Formenti will launch models on the two extremes: the flagship ZAR 85SL and the new ZARmini range.
ZAR Formenti opens to the sport rib market by introducing ZAR 85SL (which stands for Sport Luxury). Genoa Boat Show will see two units of the flagship: one in the water, powered by twin Suzuki FP300 outboards, and a second one on display in the stand with different colors and a more luxurious trim.
ZAR 85SL: here’s the big one
8.50 meter long, ZAR 85SL is the flagship of the Sport Luxury range that includes already 49SL and 59SL. The development started from the existing ZAR 87, which features a cabin and a separate head. The same hull perfectly fits a sportier rib, with high performance and a catchy look.
ZAR 85SL features hydraulic steering and a sporty console with enough space for all the electronics, in an ergonomic layout. Driver and co-driver have bucket seats, good for fast cruising, while underneath there’s a kitchenette with two or three hobs, a sink, and a refrigerator.
The fore deck hosts a dinette for eight which turns into a large solarium, with even the cushion before the console becoming part of it. To aft, a C-shaped couch sits six guests and forms too a dinette or a sun bed, according to the position of the table.
A companion door beside the console leads to the cabin, which features potty and sink, beside an integrated system of lockers. The space turns into a double bed by mounting specific supports and cushions.
From ZAR 85SL to ZARmini range
ZAR Formenti enters the segment of mini-ribs, in the size range 2.2 to 5 meters: ZARmini lineup is formed by four product lines declined into 40 new modes. The RIB range is formed by ribs with aluminum hull, measuring 2.40 to 5 meters. A lighter hull means reaching the plane faster and touching higher speeds, even with a small engine. In the larger models, even the console and the cabinets will be built in light alloy, still covered with cushions.
