It will be an international event for luxury boating. Here’s all the details about Versilia Yachting Rendez-vous, which will take place in Viareggio may 11th to 14th.
Viareggio is probably the best choice for such an event, as beside being a pearl on the Tuscany coast, it’s one of the largest construction hubs for superyachts in the world.
Versilia Yachting Rendez-vous will cover an area of 110 mila mq, half of which in the harbor of Viareggio to host 100 boats, while the dry part will be divided into four thematic sectors:
Tender&Toys. Everything you need to take on board your yacht in order to have fun on (and in) the water.
Italian Coast Excellence. It will gather exhibitors who offer quality services, on land or in the water, adequate to superyacht owners’ needs.
Superyacht Marina. Harbors and marinas will show their structures and services dedicated to big yachts.
Superyacht Equipment and Component. A selection of producers of said categories will have their stands here.
As a whole, exhibitors will be the players of several different business sectors, such as motor boats, sailboats, accessories, design, brokers, agencies, ports and luxury.
But Versilia Yachting Rendez-vous will go beyond the boat show. It will be a great way to promote Made in Italy in general: in this context it will e represented by art, fashion, food and design in their various expressions, so that this international event will not be confined to the exhibition area butt will merge with the city of Viareggio, with a series of join events.
Talking of events, they will take place upon an innovative format that divides them by theme and by days. Each of the four days of Versilia Yachting Rendez-vous will be dedicated to a specific theme. Here the details:
Thursday May 11 design and supercars;
Friday May 12 for Haute Cuisine or top-notch gastronomy;
Saturday May 13 a full Art day;
Sunday May 14 fashion and lifestyle.
The program of events is organized by Fondazione Altagamma, which is the high cultural and creative Italian industry. Altagamma is the parent association of Nautica Italiana, which represents a part of the Italian boating industry and which invented this Versilia Yachting Rendez-vous, leaving then the actual organization to Fiera Milano.
Among the partners of the event there’s the Tuscany Technological District for Boating and Harbours, Tuscany Region and the Municipality of Viareggio. But all the Versilia area will be involved, with cities and villages to host related events.
The appointment for Versilia Yachting Rendez-vous is then scheduled for May 11 to 14 May, from 11 am to 9:30 pm (Sunday until 6pm), on the docks of Viareggio.
