The new maxi inflatable by Tecnorib will be launched at Cannes Yachting Festival. It’s a direct evolution of 1400 but grows by five meters. Meet Pirelli 1900.
On the piers of the French boat show the support will come from its smaller siblings Pirelli 880, Pirelli 1100 and Pirelli 1400. The latter in particular has been the starting point for designers who have reinterpreted its lines and style to create the new Pirelli 1900: 18.5 meters long, five wide with a displacement of 16 tons. These are the basic numbers of the maxirib which is intended to become the new flagship of the yard, representing an important milestone of the >10-year long collaboration between Tecnorib and Pirelli.

Pirelli 1900: 18,5 in style and sportiness

Like the Pirelli 1400, a Tecnorib’s bestseller, 1900 comes from Mannerfelt Design Team and remains faithful to Pirelli’s brand philosophy, focusing on the highest standards of quality: the hull is infused, as well as the carbon hardtop, whose lightness lowers the center of gravity and improves performance. The powertrain consists of to two MAN I6 800 HP with Top System surface drives which should allow to reach a maximum speed of 45 knots, while still being easy to pilot with joystick and automatic trims.

But the new Pirelli 1900 does not forget cruise comfort: it is not a racing boat, but a rigid inflatable boat with all the related robustness and seaworthiness. The hull has been designed to offer high performance without affecting livability: the cozy interiors feature a headroom of up to two meters. So, as in the 1400, Pirelli 1900 offers a great attention to the development of common areas, where social life is focused. The lines are typical of the Tecnorib boats: above all, is the carbon hardtop that stretches to stern to protect the cockpit. A large solarium to bow and a custom cockpit in the back complete the layout.

Belowdecks the interior is elegant and essential, with the use of “warm” materials such as decolorized woods coupled with metallic effect lacquers with soft and light colors; In the cabins, elegant fabrics enrich the spaces in a sober and refined manner. The basic layout features two large cabins, as many bathrooms, and a central living area with galley, dining table and a dinette transformable into an additional berth.
The master room is in the bow and sports a double bed en-suite. To stern, on the port side, the guest cabin has transversal beds, while the bathroom, accessible from the central salon, also works as a day-toilet. On the starboard side there is a large and very functional technical room, but the second unit, the one that will be previewed at the next Cannes Boat Show, will feature a third cabin for the crew.
