The Greek yard introduces a rigid inflatable which in 7.2 meters features the versatility, comfort and sportsmanship expected on larger models. But Tecnohull T688 is also perfect as a tender.
Since the foundation of Tecnohull in 2005, in Alimos close to Athens, some values have been instilled in all of their models: versatility, comfort and adrenaline in particular. And the new model sports the same DNA despite being the smallest in the range.
With a plus: like larger siblings, Tecnohull T688 is completely designed and built within the yard premises, performed by highly specialized technicians following rigid international standards. An example is the multi-directional fibers that ensure a solid platform for the standard Pennel Flipo Orca 1670 tubular.
Versatility above all, but don’t forget performance
Thanks to a considerable load carrying capability and careful ergonomics, the T688 is perfect both for comfortable daily cruising but also as a superyacht tender. The center console, which includes a locker underneath and can stand an optional T-Top (maybe not suitable for tender use…), leaves two lateral passageways to help moving move from bow to stern.
The pilot and copilot have two bucket shock-absorbing seats, while a single seat is incorporated in the forward part of the console. The fore solarium fits two guests, with a bow gangway that makes it simple to step on and off. At the stern the full-width bench seats three, and the backrest design lets guests move to the swim platforms that include a retractable ladder.
The ventilated deep-V hull grants a sporty behavior at speed, taking advantage of the possible engine choices: four-strokes 150 to 200 HP, and two-strokes (we imagine Evinrude G2) from 150 to 250 HP. The latter powerstep should grant Tecnohull T688 a the top speed in excess of 50 knots.
