It will be shown at the Düsseldorf Boot in January: Beneteau Flyer 10 is a fast cruiser with outboard motors for eleven people. It’s versatile, sporty and can accommodate four for the night.
Time for another preview from the giant French boatbuilder. The renderings show the new Beneteau Flyer 10 and it’s quite clear how versatile it will be. In less than 10 meters the Flyer 10 is comfortable both on and below deck, with some solutions that Beneteau likes to develop and gradually introduce on most of their models.
Smart solutions, good performance
For instance there’s an aft bench that folds back to create a sunbathing area overlooking the swim platform. The galley on the starboard is fully equipped so it’s possible to cook while enjoying life aboard with other passengers: it features a refrigerator, sink, twin burner, storage and even a small worktop. A rigid T-top or bimini can be fitted to protect this area. As the model is designed for trips with family or friends, it has a double seat to port side beside the console’s two bucket seats. So, four people can share the moments of navigation, staying protected behind the full-beam windshield with side panes.
Belowdecks there’s two double berths and a real shower room, with the head separate from the shower. The central area is well lit by the long hull windows on both sides, while a storage cabinet at the bottom of the stairway can be fitted out in a variety of ways.
In the cockpit a small gate opens onto the swim platform, which is wide and deep: it even has room for a barbecue. A door integrated into the windshield opens onto the fore deck. The asymmetric single port walkway offers a bigger deck space, with a sun bed for three, and a well sized cabin.
But Beneteau Flyer 10 promises to deliver good fun also on the performace side. Powered by 2×350 hp engines, it sports the Group’s Airstep 2 technology and lifts off in just a few seconds to reach more than 40 knots. Looking forward to test it during the next Spring, for the moment what we will do is go and discover it in Düsseldorf. We will let you know.
