It’s the first model from the boatyard: Ryders R750 S takes inspiration and know how from the automotive sector.
Alessandro Molino is a relatively new name for the nautical world, but a well established one in the automotive one, where he can claim an important collaboration with one of the most important brands in the German automotive industry. To tell the truth he is not entering the nautical world for the first time: he won a prize at 2011 Seatec for designing of a boat for the disabled, developed in collaboration with the Polytechnic of Turin.
Ryders: passion and design
The passion for boating and the professional skills developed in the car sector have created an excellent mix: it pushed Alessandro Molino to create his own line of RIBs, combining the best of both experiences. Thus was born the Ryders brand, and in particular the Ryders R750 S, first model of what should become a complete range.
So much so that the R800 has already been announced: it should feature a larger console to accommodate a small cabin, standup driving position with grill, and outboard engine mounted on bracket. On its side, the R750 will be developed in three versions, of which the Tender will debut with an original metallic paint.
Let’s focus then on Ryders R750 S. The hull was designed by engineer Aldo Gatti and boasts a deadrise of 23°, while the whole deck was designed by Alessandro Molino himself. Just a glance shows the care for detail, and the round shapes of the console inspired by supercars, the latter being what best expresses the whole personality of the boat. The driver’s seat is no different, as are the two cozy sofas, bow and aft, which can be transformed into a sundeck.
Obviously there will be several chances of customization to create a unique product. On the transom, the first R750 S is powered by an Evinrude E-TEC G2 with 300 hp. We are looking forward to test it as it should be really fast!
