Besenzoni keeps on developing innovative products, with design and features that fit a wide range of boats and yachts. Let’s discover the latest news.
The company is based in Sarnico, Italy (which just happens to be the home of Riva boatyard…) and is headed by Giorgio Besenzoni. It was founded in 1967 by Giovanni Besenzoni, and since then it has grown steadily over more than fifty years. Giorgio recently created the Unica brand, a company division specifically designed for the superyacht segment. At the latest Genoa boat show, Besenzoni displayed some of the newest products, in particular the SP 600 G rotating ladder and the pilot seats P 338 Infinity Elegance and P 397.
Get on board, take a seat
Besenzoni SP 600 G is an automatic rotating ladder which works as a gangway as well. It can be installed to stern or on the side, and its structure is available in either polished or powder coated stainless steel. The self-leveling teak steps are made safer thanks to a double row of manual, removable stanchions: this is a good solution for stowing it too. SP 600 G is easy to use with a control panel – operated remotely from the cockpit – and an electro-hydraulic control unit.
The automatic Besenzoni P 338 Infinity Elegance helm seat has a long name and many features. It’s designed to please demanding boat owners, with its simple yet elegant shape and a huge degree of customization. The ergonomic seat, the angle of the seatback and the adjustable footrest should grant a comfortable position even on long trips.
Unstoppable Besenzoni: here’s another three novelties by the Italian company
Besenzoni, 50 years on the edge
P 338 can be supplied with either electric or manual movement, and comes in standard vinyl-fabric upholstery or real leather. Alternatively, the chair can be customized using the owner’s own choice of fabric.
Another novelty, seen at Genoa boat show, is the Besenzoni P 397 chair: a helm seat designed for maximum functionality and comfort. The P 397 is born in cooperation with FB Design, with top attention to hard conditions, in particular high performance boats at top speeds.
Not brand new, but still fresh off the design table: Genoa booth also displayed to the public a range of small gangways such as PI 461 Miss White, PI 369 Smart Lux and PI 389 Racing Lux.
