The flagship of the fleet: Beneteau Antares 11 is a large outboard cruiser

It’s eleven meters long, which is a milestone for the range. Beneteau Antares 11 is indeed the first model of the range to exceed 10 meters, after a presence on the market no less than 40 years long.

The typical features of the Antares range are all present, in a larger scale. So Antares 11 delivers on safety, seaworthiness and especially space for the whole family.
With the first Antares was launched by Beneteau in 1977, the legacy is not just about experience and tradition. It also consists of innovation, i.e. the desire to always say something new.

Nothing’s missing

Antares 11 is the result of a new collaboration between Beneteau and Sarrazin Design. Her lines are fluid and well-proportioned trying to be contemporary, and the profile of the wheelhouse is underlined by extensive windows, for natural light.

Comfort is a priority, and movement on board is made easier by a flush deck between the cockpit and the wheelhouse. Typical for the yard, only the starboard passageway has full-width, in order to save space for the superstructure.

Let’s get belowdecks, to find a master cabin at the bow featuring a central bed, lots of storage, large profiled windows on each side, and an en-suite shower room, with Alpi hazelnut wood bulkheads, combined with the heather gray fabric of the lining. With opening windows on both sides, the large aft cabin is well ventilated and has a nice view: it sports a double bed together with a single berth to starboard.

If you add two passengers sleeping in the convertible saloon, the Beneteau Antares 11 can accommodate up to 7 people.

Antares 11 aims at being a real family cruiser, thanks to many useful features. Like the sun pad on the fore-deck, which can be protected by a Bimini top.
As for the aft cockpit, it is completely sheltered by the wheelhouse overhang, ideal for cooler climates. As seen on yachts, the starboard bulwark tilts down to become a swim platform, increasing the size of the cockpit considerably and creating a sea-view terrace.

The L-shaped bench of the cockpit can be converted to a second sunbathing space, while the seating connects almost seamlessly to the sofa in the lounge area inside, creating a vast relaxation space. The interiors also sport the mentioned convertible salon, galley, and ergonomic helm station. Huge windows give an all-around view, but indoor light is enhanced by the four glazed roof windows, two of which are hatches.

Following the trend of having outboard motors on larger and larger boats, Beneteau Antares 11 is powered by twin 300 hp outboards, which give performance and add on versatility. In the end, it’s a boat is designed for different types of boating: weekend getaways, family cruises, watersports.
