The simple word Super says that the Riva 76 Perseo has received several improvements. A refined and fast sport-fly, now even more luxurious and performing.
A motto teaches that the hardest part is not achieving excellence, but maintaining it: and Riva is no exception. While building boats and yachts that owners all over the world consider to be the top in their respective segments, the Italian shipyard must constantly improve its products.
In this case we are talking of the Riva 76 Perseo, a 24-meter sport-fly that records an excellent commercial success since its presentation just over five years ago. The time has come for a general update, and here is the Perseo Super, which adds and improves several details compared to the creature of Ferretti Group and Officina Italiana Design.
The options take it to a further level
One of the main design innovations, on the outside, is the glass roof, which opens towards the bow and is positioned above the saloon, with the dual function of illuminating and ventilating the interior.
At the stern there is a submersible platform and a garage for a 3.25 meter tender and two seabobs, while on request a second water toy can be placed on the platform itself.
The cockpit, with a convertible table for eight, has been enriched with a drawer fridge under the couch. Again upon request you can have a bar corner with stools, enriched with details in mahogany, polished stainless steel and Corian.
On the flybridge, perfectly integrated into the sporty lines of the Perseo, you can have a further drawer fridge under the couch.
In order not to compromise the elegance of the lines, a key factor for any Riva, the mooring components are hidden from view. An aspect that, along with the refined materials and the typical colors of the brand, will satisfy the eye in the best way.
Inside, without going into a list of the entire set-up (the photos explain better), we mention the Arper settees in the living area and the two Riva armchairs that serve the helm station with three 16-inch screens (on request, they can be 19”).
The dominant hue for the interiors, both above and below deck, is sand oak, combined with light and dark lacquers and details in polished stainless steel. Upon request, rosewood can be chosen as the main essence.
The three luxurious cabins of the Riva 76 Perseo Super all feature private bathrooms, but on request it is also possible to have a fourth one, again with en-suite.
We note in the press release that all the forward and aft walls of the owner’s suite have additional insulation, which guarantees maximum comfort both towards the other areas and towards the kitchen.
Two 1550 hp MAN V12s with shafts and V drive transmissions push the Perseo to 32 knots (28 the declared cruising pace). But if you go for the 1800 hp MAN units, the maximum speed reaches 37 knots and cruise speed 32.
At the stern there are the Humphree trim tabs, the so-called interceptors, with automatic adjusting, to ensure maximum ease of use in optimizing comfort and consumption.
The Aventics joystick, another optional equipment, includes a docking mode, which allows you to maneuver easily in confined waters, for example in side mooring, thanks to the translation obtained with the combined use of propellers and proportional bow thruster.
Two additional optional features are noteworthy: a third cockpit control station and the Seakeeper NG18 stabilizer. With all the accessories, Perseo really gets into a Super class.
The first unit has already been sold and will be ready for the summer.
