Construction began in December, on speculation. Now Antonini Navi reveals more about UP40 Crossover, which will have various cards to convince its owner.
UP40 stands for Utility Platform, 40 meters. It is the multiple yacht project by Antonini Navi, a displacement unit designed by Fulvio de Simoni, upon the input of its creator Aldo Manna and the Antonini family.

We have defined the project as “multiple” for a reason: UP40 Crossover is in fact only one of the three models planned, along with Motoryacht and Explorer. The crossover version under construction is characterized by the design of the aft area: it can transform into a sort of private beach on the water, expandable and without barriers, just as the current market trends require.
There will be a further choice, as the UP40 Crossover will be available as Open Deck or Enclosed Bridge: Antonini Navi wants to give her future owner the possibility to choose between maximum contact with the sea and increased privacy.
With an overall length of 43 meters, Antonini UP40 offers another innovative solution, i.e. the asymmetric layout. From the main deck it’s possible to reach the forward area along the starboard passageway, while from the bow a staircase to port leads to the upper deck. This solution creates room for a terrace of over 200 square meters, and another 90 protected and shaded by the hard top.
Among the customization chances of the outdoor areas, the owner can have an infinity pool in the foredeck.
_Steel is the material for the UP40 Crossover hull, while the superstructure is in aluminum. The water lines were tested in the Dutch naval tank of the Maritime Research Institute Netherland, both from a static and dynamic point of view, simulating navigation even in extreme conditions.
The freeboard is large and characterized by soft lines and the bow is vertical, while the bulb gives the hull a clean piercing on the wave and an optimization of thrust reserve useful in navigation with chopped sea in front.
So, Antonini Navi offers a yacht with a strong personality, customizable as desired, and with modern and technological contents. The construction began on speculation, i.e. upon an initiative of the Shipyard and not an order from a customer. It is therefore the right time to step forward and make yourself a gift: being the first owner of the UP40.
