The new Leader 36 perfectly encloses the spirit of Jeanneau shipyard: sporty boats, made for family cruising..
The new Leader 36 from the French yard comes in two versions: Sportop and Open. Both feature a sporty look by Camillo Garroni and a deep vee hull by Michael Peters. The deck design puts outdoor life first, still the Sportop version with sliding hard top is better for a superior versatility. The layout is classic, with – from bow to aft – a large solarium, the pilothouse behind the windshield, a dinette, the back sun bed and an ample swim platform. The side decks are wide and safe.
Inside, there’s room enough for two cabins and a second dinette, useful in case of bad weather. The galley is placed in-between the a three-berths cabin amidships and the fore one which is completed by a small dinette / living. During the day this last space is open, while for the night a sliding door turns the cabin into a suite. To compete the layout, an ample bathroom with shower box.
The Leader 36 is 11,47 mt long and 3,62 wide (37 ft 8 in by 11 ft 11 in), for a 6.6 tons displacement. Fuel tank is 560 lt (147 US gal), 160 lt is the reserve for fresh water (42 gal).
It is powered by two 300 HP gas Mercruiser engines or two 260 HP diesel Volvo Pentas, both options matched to sterndrives.
