Introduced a few months ago in USA, the new Raymarine Ray50, Ray60 and Ray70 VHF radios are now available on some European markets.
These new devices grant a superior reliability therefore a safe navigation. For instance the top unit Ray 70 includes an AIS receiver, so it can visualize – on compatible screens – information about real-time marine traffic.
In general, all Raymarine VHF radios feature high quality speakers and noise cancellation microphones, simple operation with icon-based menu, high contrast display, NMEA2000 and SeaTalk compatibility for easy interaction with MFD and chart-plotter screens, transmitters/receivers for commercial use with steady and powerful output, high sensitivity receiver.
The new range has it’s top in the Ray70 model, which integrates many communication instruments in a single device. The AIS integral receiver of the Raymarine Ray70 makes installation easier and gives important infos about the marine traffic on compatible screens. Matching the Ray70 to the optional RayMic remote control gives the flexibility of a double control station and an intercom function.
The Ray60 VHF is an ultra-compact VHF radio, as is Ray50. Both feature high quality speakers, noise cancellation technology and a new design that perfectly matches the multi-purpose and Glass Bridge Raymarine displays.
