Jeanneau introduces the flagship to their motoryacht range: it’s the Leader 46, a 14-meter that smartly combines open spaces and two or three cabins.
According to the first renderings, it’s clear which basic concepts have driven the design of Leader 46: a sporty look, big space inside, an innovative and luxurious ambiance inside. The exteriors are from the Italian studio Garroni Design, while the interiors come from J&J Design.
Three open areas…almost
Many interesting solutions characterize this 46. In particular, three different living areas outdoors: the large “sportop” transforms the dinette and the helm station in an open space, a large living leads to the aft solarium, and a stairway gives access to the swim platform (as an option it can be hydraulically moved) which becomes a beach at sea level while at anchor, completed with the optional galley cabinet in the cockpit. Were this not enough, to aft there’s also a large garage for the tender.
The same care can be found on the lower deck. In alternative, Leader 46 can be offered with two or three cabins, with the latter that replaces an indoor living area facing the galley. The full-beam owner’s room is located amidships, with double bed on the back wall and en-suite to port. The guests’ cabin is in front and will share the heads with the possible third cabin.
The new Leader 46 is 14.20 mt long and 4.10 wide (46ft 7in x 13ft 5in). The powertrain can be chosen among a traditional stern-driven couple of Volvo Penta D6 (2×400 HP), or two modern solutions with Volvo pods: IPS500 (2x370HP) or IPS600 (2×435 HP).
