More light, more space: the new Merry Fisher 795 wants to be the ideal solution for short- and mid-range cruising.
The new Jeanneau Merry Fisher 795 features a pleasant and modern look, which values both the indoor and outdoor volumes. In this new project the French boatyard has put all the innovations already seen on Merry Fisher 695, developed on an extra meter in length.
It’s worth recalling that the 795 replaces the previous 755, a very successful model sold in over 1000 units. Like the predecessor, the hull boasts a traditional V shape, which has been unanimously praised for its seaworthiness and soft navigation. The outboard propulsion makes easier to customize the cockpit layout according to owners’ needs, while the output can reach 200 HP.
The light effect
The new design reflects the evolution of the whole Merry Fisher range, pursuing more and more light in particular for the interiors. The rational superstructure with large windows and the panorama windscreen make the salon extremely bright and give a full view on the sea around while sitting at the dinette. The transparent and sliding panel on the hard top increase light and circulation of air. Last but not least, the passage from the salon to the cockpit with a three-parted door leaves all the space needed linking perfectly the two areas.
Two swim platforms grant access to the cockpit. The back dinette is on the port side and can turn into a sun bed (as an option) in a few movements. Worth noting that when the outboard is completely lifted, it’s still possible to use the dinette thanks to a moving element. More space inside is allowed by increased dimensions and by the smart dinette which transforms into a double berth. Another double berth and a separate heads are located to bow. The helm station sports two seats, both with excellent visibility. So, it seems that the Merry Fisher 795 can really grant the maximum comfort for family cruising. The two main measures are 7.90 meters in length and 2.80 in beam (25ft 11in by 9ft 2in).
