A story of passion over half a century long: Cantiere Nautico Piccaluga is a safe harbor for all the boaters on Lake Maggiore.
Nobody can tell the story of Cantiere Nautico Piccaluga better than Carlo Piccaluga. We’re talking about what has become an institution on Lake Maggiore.
“Our boatyard was born in 1964, and back then our work consisted of collecting old hulls from the few existing yards. Moved by enthusiasm and passion for boating which was constantly growing. So we decided to start production of a small wooden boat, and we found a good market success. You may remember “Dollis”, built in over 60 units. With the introduction of new materials such as fiberglass and the craftsmanship becoming industry, we chose to move our activity: so we bought a plot on Lake Maggiore, in Sesto Calende, and started our business of storing and wintering boats. A hard but constant growth made us proud of the work we’ve done, and nowadays we serve many customers, all passionate boaters that appreciate our competence and the quality of our complete service. Our sons are then continuing the business with the same enthusiasm and passion we put in the first 51 years”.
