A year after launching the flagship 750, Prestige debuts the 680. Some meters shorter, with the same level of luxury and comfort.
The French shipyard Prestige wants to confirm their privileged position in the prestige yacht market (the pun is not accidental). So the 680 model has just been introduced, in Cannes, and is ready to hit the market.
From 750 to 680
Directly inspired by the flagship Prestige 750, 680 carries over all the prerogatives, on a smaller size. The hull is designed by J&J Design with lines made for comfort and performance; the powertrain is confirmed with two Volvo Penta IPS 1200 for efficiency and handling.
A peculiar feature of the 680 is the huge flybridge, which includes a double pilot’s seat, a second front-facing couch, a large galley serving the dinette and a second living area. Both the latter quickly turn into solariums.
The salon is filled with natural lights through the large windows that give a 360 degrees visibility. The layout sticks to the Prestige concept: main galley to aft, to serve salon and cockpit, a large dining space and a lounge area in the middle with sea view. The helm station is accessible also from the side deck through a sliding door.
The owner’s cabin has its own private access, while guests have their own space in the center of the lower deck. The choice is among two or three cabins. The master’s room, with an against-the-tide choice, is located abow and sports a double bed on the back wall, a bathroom, and an office corner.
