The new MCY 80, which will debut in September at Cannes Yachting Festival, enters the market with authority filling the gap in the range between MCY 76 and MCY 86.
Looking at the first renderings you can immediately tell that MCY80 is not a compromise between 76 and 86. Her strong characterization comes from the elegant look (which is actually nothing new for Monte Carlo Yachts) and from the high level of technology.
MCY 80: debut in Cannes
MCY 80, sixth model in the lineup, develops the brand values combining look and smart solutions. The designers didn’t just thought of a new boat, but they tried to match luxury, functionality, and performance.
“With Monte Carlo Yachts we always pursue the maximum space and comfort, but let’s not forget that we are building a boat, not a villa – stated her designers Carlo Nuvolari and Dan Lenard. MCY 80 is a sensational yacht, sleek and agile. We found inspiration in an ideal of elegance and flair, which we transferred from the sketches to the product”.
With an overall length of 24 meters, MCY80 is the third largest in the range. The balanced and well defined lines give her a modern look, yet not minimalist. Key elements are the fore area, with the so called Portoguese deck, while the large flybridge can house a Jacuzzi, a wet bar and chaise-longues to enjoy the sun. Both the main deck and the cabins are pervaded by natural light, and feature the best care up to the last detail. The whitened and brushed oak flooring adds a further elegant touch, which matches leather and stone parts and furniture by Hermes, Armani Casa and Minotti.
MCY 80 is designed and built by Monte Carlo Yachts in Monfalcone, northern Italy (by Trieste), in advanced premises covering an area of 18,000 square meters, lately increased to 21,000 thanks to a painting hangar over 60 meters long.
