After the success of 44, Cantieri Capelli launched at Genoa boat show another high-end rib: 12-meter long, Capelli Tempest 40 enters the “Top Line” range.
Capelli Tempest 40: evolution, with infusion
Capelli Tempest 40 is the natural evolution of the well known Tempest 44: a maxi rib with a sporty character, entirely built in Northern Italy close to Cremona. The keel is resin infused and features a deep V hull, while the layout sports the usual arrangement: a large couch for the guests, served by a height adjusting table, a center console with windshield, a raised foredeck with solarium, and a cabin belowdecks with access through the companion door. In addition Capelli Tempest 40 boasts a fiberglass roll bar, transom shower and courtesy deck lights. The pilot’s seat flips up to allow upright or sit positions. Beneath the driving settee, the kitchenette is complete with sink, hob and refrigerator. The dashboard is a design element, thanks to clean lines and dark grey color. To bow, a large sun bed ends with a fiberglass pulpit with – standard – electric anchor winch.
The cabin of Capelli Tempest 40 is a cozy open space with a maximum headroom of 180 cm (around 6 feet) in the area by the entrance. The dinette to fore turns into a double berth by lowering the table, and there’s space for a separate heads. Among the available options for the model: bow thurster, deck and foredeck flloring in teak (or in echo-friendly flexiteak), power steering with double piston rudder control, water-ski pole, 220 Volt.
