The new Humminbird Helix 12 Chirp is a vision on the future

The new Helix 12 offers a broad band, high precision Chirp from Humminbird, and a high quality image system with many digital features.

The eye is caught by the large screen ,but Helix 12’s peculiarities are others: the broad band Humminbird Chirp, the sonar images, or the powerful AutoChart Live feature to track the sea bottom.

Helix 12 goes gull range

The Helix 12 Chirp Series features a highly bright screen, advanced image technology, an Ethernet port to connect multiple units such as Minn Kota i-Pilot Link, Humminbird 360 Imaging and the AutoChart Live system which allows anglers to make their own map of the sea bottom, in real time and with no need of PC, server or cloud.
The main news of Helix 12 is the Broadband Chirp with and full spectrum between 28 kHz and 490 kHz to allow users to see what’s under the water with new and incredible detail (you may need to purchase an additional transducer for the full 28 kHz – 490 kHz range). In fact, the system provides high detail accuracy for all types of fishing. Compared to similar technologies, this Chirp scans the frequencies using a high-level transducer and through data processing, in order to ensure a unique precision in detecting shoals.

For maximum convenience, this 1 Kw technology is integrated into the main unit of Helix 12. While other devices capture only some frequencies, Humminbird Helix 12 Chirp offers the angler a complete range of features right from the start, with the chance to select the start and end frequencies for maximum control. Helix 12 Chirp provides a more detailed image of the fish, a remarkable clarity, a greater separation of the targets, a reduction of noise, unparalleled accuracy and greater depth.

Helix 12 series consists of three models, all with an extremely easy-to-use operating system, called Reflex Interface. In addition, there’s keyboard control with X-Press Menu System, 65000 colors 1024 x 600 HD TFT 10.1′ screen with universal mount or with optional recess-mount kit. International models support 200/50 kHz. Optional 50 kHz transducers are also available for use in deep water.
The three models Helix 12 Chirp – GPS, Helix 12 Chirp DI-GPS and Helix 12 Chirp SI-GPS have dual slots for SD card, to use with an advanced mapping system, or to save screenshots, sonar recordings or waypoints. Last important feature, all models of the Helix 12 Chirp family include an upgradable software.
