The two yachts from Sanlorenzo, SL118 and SD112, will be introduced at the upcoming boat shows in Cannes (September 9-14) and Genoa (October 1-6), while the Monaco Yacht Show will be the stage for two metal superyachts from the Italian shipyard: 40Alloy and 46Steel.
SL118 and SD112 are the two big news that Sanlorenzo will officially introduce at the upcoming boat shows in Cannes and Genoa, which along with Monaco Yacht Show are the most important boating events to open the 2014-2015 nautical year. Sanlorenzo SD112 is a 33.6 meter unit born with the idea of completing the semi-displacement fiberglass range, called SD, with a yacht halfway between the SD92 (28 meters) and SD 126 (38 meters). The experience that Sanlorenzo got by building over 30 units of the SD kind allowed them to build the perfect motoryacht. The best acknowledgment of the balance between design, size and performance comes from a single number: so far, 6 units of the SD112 have already been sold, before the very first one has even been launched.
Sanlorenzo SL118 is the new flagship of the SL range, and it’s a 36 meter planing yacht recalling the typical SL design: large volumes and sophisticated technology in many aspects. The launch of the first unit has been held lately, during the Sanlorenzo Elite Days, while another two hulls are going to be completed and delivered to their owners. The Monaco Yacht Show, a boating event exclusively dedicated to yachts over 30 meters, will take place in Monte Carlo 24th to 27th of September. Sanlorenzo will have on display two units of their metal fleet: the 40-meter, aluminum-built 40Alloy-116 and the 46-meter, steel-made 46Steel-Starling.
