After the success of 43, here’s the new Evo WA further developing the “opening revolution” concept in a walkaround layout.
The solution that distinguished Evo Yachts since their first appearance, and which has decreed the success of Evo 43, is also the main feature of Evo WA: the sides can be lowered to extend the cockpit area and make it even more livable and in contact with the sea. The project is by Studio Rivellini and the build by Blu Emme Yachts: they have developed the same design concept that has distinguished Evo Yachts from the beginning: essential, clean lines, and minimalist design.
Evo WA is…well, a walkaround
The most significant novelty of this 13-meter is the easy passage between the stern and bow areas by walking around the helmstation. This feature, from which comes the name has been borrowed from the sportfishing world and integrated in the elegant and contemporary style that distinguishes the Evo Yachts collection. All is completed with the “XTension”aft sidewalls, able to transform the aft space and the beach into a seafront terrace of over 25 square meters. This area of Evo WA is configurable to suit the needs of the owner in the different moments of the day: the choice ranges from comfortable chaise longues or sundeck pillows to a rotating platform that works as a gangway, bath ladder, dive deck or tender Lift. Furthermore, the owner may choose to equip the same area with a retractable kitchenette with induction hob, tepanyaki stove or barbecue grill.
All on-board operations can be managed by the latest generation domotics that allows you to control the boat with an iPad running all the parameters for navigation and several basic functions of the yacht. Evo WA is also designed for less experienced boaters thanks to her easy mooring operation, where the Volvo IPS are the decisive factor. But great attention has also been paid to the performance: the Volvo Penta IPS 600 (2 × 435 HP), combined with the deep V hull with 18° deadrise, allow Evo WA to reach a maximum speed of 40 knots and cruise at 32.
The new Evo WA will be officially launched at Cannes Yachting Festival in September 2017, where it will be in the water alongside the rest of the Evo Yachts range.
