It used to be 950…not it’s become Scanner Envy 1100 Touring, where the extra meter gives more space to dinette and solarium. Still under the 10-meter threshold. It is already in the water, and will be introduced at Cannes and Genoa boat shows.
Scanner Envy 1100 Touring: comfort first
The first images of the new Scanner Envy 1100 Touring can make you dream: partly because of the setting, and partly because Montemitro Design has made another very elegant model in his collection. Everything shows great style and attention to the balance of volumes and color combinations, here based on the contrast between the neoprene hypalon (Orca Pennel Industries, 1670 dtex) tubular and cushion fabrics, all in light hues, and the dark colors of the hull and the fiberglass parts surrounding the cockpit.
You wouldn’t tell from the images, but under the central console there’s a cabin with double bed and a separate heads. So cruising (with a bit of sporty spirit) is not precluded, although daytime use is what the Envy 1100 Touring Scanner has been designed for. The layout features a double sundeck, with the bow one that can be transformed into a dining area, then a second dinette which can be fitted to the center of the boat, with the tilting table by the driver’s seat cabinet that houses a grill, sink and fridge.
Power comes from twin 350HP MerCruiser 6.2L V8 (the latest V8 from the American manufacturer) that can push the Scanner Envy 1100 Touring to 47 knots; as an alternative, twin outboards are also available.
