Azimut Atlantis 51 will be one of the previews by Azimut Yachts at Boot Düsseldorf: much space on board and design from Neo Design studio.
“The DNA of a true open boat” is the Company claims about the new Azimut Atlantis 51, which, along with Azimut 55 Fly, will be one of the two world previews at the upcoming Boot Düsseldorf (20-28 January 2018). Performance and space are the most peculiar features of this sporty and bold yacht, whose design is by Marco Biaggi and Filippo Salvetti of Neo Design studio, creators of all the models in the range since 2009.
Azimut Atlantis 51: performance and space
The first renderings show that the new Atlantis can offer large and airy spaces, thanks to the 4.5 m beam combined with an overall length of 16.18 m. The power comes from twin Volvo Penta IPS800, which should allow a top speed of 35 knots and a cruise of 32. Outside the open design is complemented with a rather vertical bow and sleek lines.
The main deck has been conceived as a large open-air lounge area: in addition to the usual sunbeds, aft and front, there’s a relaxation area quickly convertible into a dinette for lunch. In front of the classic C-shaped couch a second sofa is served by a transformable coffee table. When needed, the sofa breaks into two poufs, creating a true dining area with the large table.
On the lower deck of the new Azimut Atlantis 51, Biaggi and Salvetti have been able to create a real dinette with front-facing furniture and the three cabins. The master to bow is characterized by a full-height space, a vanity with settees and a small bookcase, is also very bright thanks to the double skylights and side windows. The VIP, located amidships, is actually a “second master”, and offers the possibility of a double bed which slides into twin; as the owner’s one, the cabin also has a vanity area and large storage space. Finally, the third cabin, with bunk beds, is still big enough and a well sized side porthole guarantees much light.
Another addition to practicality and comfort is the garage, which can host a tender up to 3.25 m long.
