Already known for building hi-tech vessels for the oil industry, Rosetti Marino Group take their know-how into the new branch Rosetti Superyachts.
You can say that Rosetti Superyachts is born with experience. In fact, Rosetti Marino Group includes 18 companies, nine branches and employs 1200 workers with a turnover of € 213 million in 2016. Founded in 1925, it is one of the world leaders in the design and construction of a wide range of commercial vessels, from ocean tugs and service vessels for platforms to passenger ships, equipped with the most advanced propulsion, automation, navigation aid and control systems. Its Italian facility San Vitale, in the port of Ravenna, occupies a total area of 240,000 square meters including piers, moorings and a covered area of about 17,000 sqm with two construction sites of 25x100m each and a drydock of 160x25m. Up to now, the shipyard has launched 119 ships ranging from 40 to 140 meters in length.
Rosetti Superyachts trusts Fulvio Dodich
Fulvio Dodich is a manager of great experience in the superyacht world: he has held important positions at Ferretti and Sanlorenzo and is now a partner and President of Rosetti Superyachts. The new division, based in Montecarlo, aims to make the most of the Group’s extensive experience in building luxury superyachts from 40 to 150 meters.
To realize this program, Dodich has appointed the Italian designer Tommaso Spadolini who will develop a fleet of concept-yachts from 48 to 85 meters. The first of these is an 85 M supply vessel of 2,200GT with MTU main engines and Rolls Royce propulsion system. It is proposed in two configurations with central or aft helipad; the renderings show the version with a helicopter deck above the aft area dedicated to the owner. The helipad and the forward superstructure are connected by a central walkway that develops in the middle of the deck that houses the big tenders.
Rosetti Superyachts will rely on the technical and engineering skills shared among the 18 companies that make up the Group, such as Basis Engineering. In this way the shipyard will be able to propose custom solutions with the development and use of the most advanced technologies.
