New in 2018: Princess V60 reinforces the line-up of the sport yacht range

With a dynamic yet agile look, Princess V60 is the latest addition to the V Class range, featuring good performance and safe sea-keeping ability. It can reach a top speed of 38 knots.

Princess, the British shipyard part of the luxury giant LVMH (Luis Vuitton Moët Hennesy), is going to launch this spring their new model in the V-Class, an 18-meter sport yacht with smart use of outdoor and indoor spaces. Actually, her name maybe Princess V60, but at 19.17 meters she’s over 62 feet in length, and maybe those extra inches contribute to her sporty elegance.

Speed and luxury for many

Guests benefit from air and sunlight thanks to an electric sliding sunroof above the saloon, which sports a U-shaped sofa, an aft galley with a second, L-shaped sofa and a folding dining table. The sliding doors open out to the aft cockpit, featuring a wetbar with barbecue and coolbox. By the bathing platform, the electro-hydraulic garage door hides space for a 3.3m tender. In case you look for additional privacy on board, the generous foredeck of Princess V60 has a seating area and a solarium with optional cushions and adjustable headrests.

Belowdecks, three cabins host 6 guests. The master’s stateroom features a sofa for a moment of tranquility plus plenty of storage and a private ensuite. A forward double cabin and starboard twin cabin with optional electric sliding bunks share the forward heads. A single crew cabin, with heads and ample storage, is also available as an option.

As customary on Princess, contemporary design, skilled craftsmanship and attention to detail are evident throughout, from the curvature of the furniture, to the luxurious upholstery with hand-stitching, to a specific light design aimed at creating a cozy ambiance.

With a pair of MAN V8 engines, delivering 1200 HP each, the Princess V60 should reach 38 knots of top speed, not bad for a yacht over 19 meters long displacing 27 tons.
