New in 2018: Rivera 780 Kabe is a yacht specifically designed for charter

Rivera Yachting Services has partnered with Kabe Yachts, and together they created Rivera 780 Kabe: a 23-meter cruiser aimed at charter and fractional ownership.

Rivera Yachting Services, based in Barcelona, is a Company whose target is to assist customers in order to “let them enjoy bespoke quality and technology” (in their own words). Beside a wide range of services they can offer to their clients, they partner with some boat builders which represent their values of exclusivity and uniqueness. In particular the brands are IC Yachts, creators of 32-foot Aquilia then Di Più who builds the bold carbon-fiber DiPiù 900, and Kabe Yachts from Hamburg, Germany, designers of the Rivera 780 Kabe we see here.

18 months to enjoy a custom yacht

With a length overall of 23.8 meters, Rivera 780 Kabe is a good way to enter the luxury yacht business. Any interested client can have it delivered turnkey in 18 months, and will receive the Rivera Lifestyle Service membership. It will become the model for a fractional ownership program where customers can buy at least 25% of the ownership, and share the yacht with maximum 3 other families. Rivera Yachting Services will take care of the sales, charter and promotion.

Rivera 780 will be built in aluminum, with different choices of engines. So far we just know that a cruising speed is reckoned to be around 22 knots. The Company has engineers and designers with many years of practice in the marine industry, in order to offer endless possibilities of design encouraged by their creativity and professional way of working and make every yacht unique.

The exterior lines are tense and sleek, with some peculiar traits such as the reversed bow and the square glazing. On the main deck, the first renderings show a very bright ambiance with the galley to port beside the helm station, a dining table right behind, and a full-beam lounge to aft. Below, the place to be seems to be the master suite, with luxurious furnishing, a tea for two on one side and an opaque glass door opening on the bathroom with large use of tiles and light-hued joinery.

After the world premiere at Düsseldorf Boot, Rivera 780 Kabe has been launched at Singapore Boat Show for her first Asian debut.
