The first images of the new Scanner Envy 950 Touring confirm the yard's philosophy, declined in a new size. With Scanner Envy 950 Touring the boatyard chosen to widen the Envy range, a peculiar and interesting variation in the Touring lineup. But still sticking to the Scanner main traits, which mark a clear difference from the usual ribs.
The clean and balanced lines of Scanner Envy 950 Touring is enhanced by the fiberglass insertions and goes uninterrupted even to aft, where the only available powertrains consist of inboard engines with sterndrive. The swim platform merges with the solarium with a smooth profile, and a single step gives access to the deck. The classic layout is declined according to Scanner.

The sun bed stretches above the engine bay, which houses two engines (gas or diesel). Moving to bow the full-beam sofa hides a pop-up bimini top and faces the kitchenette with stove, sink and refrigerator. A large chair is good for the pilot and a friend, while the dashboard in front of them has enough space for much extra electronics. The whole console hosts a small cabin underneath, good for storage and for a potty. To fore, the solarium turns intoa dinette qith some quick movements.
The general feeling is of a superior attention to details and finishing, as confirmed by the teak lid that covers the anchor winch or the pop-up cleats.

Scanner Envy 950 Touring: two easy meters
After the success of Envy 710, a two-meter leap is a big challenge, and Donato Montemitro took over the task with the usual skills. The idea of a “different” rib is clearly visible in the wise use of the fiberglass, to create a “hybrid” craft which combines the quality (to the eye and touch) of this material with the performance and comfort on chopped sea granted by the tubular.
