After the debut at Cannes Yachting Festival, Solaris Power 48 Open moved to Boot Düsseldorf, where it was awarded the 2020 European Boat of the Year prize.
Solaris Power 48 Open has been designed by the same team who also developed the previous model 55 Lobster: Giuseppe Giuliani, Norberto Ferretti and Brunello Acampora. After just a few months after the launch, it has been awarded with the coveted European Powerboat of the Year 2020 prize at Flagship Night, the traditional annual prize-giving ceremony for the year’s best boats, organized on the opening day of Boot Düsseldorf.
We are part of it
The panel of expert judges from the boat industry’s top European publications (including us!) voted unanimously the 48 Open in the category over 45 feet, for the model’s uniquely beautiful design, “best of breed” build quality and undisputed seagoing prowess, which allows a safe and comfortable navigation in most sea conditions.
Beside seaworthiness, the main features of Solaris 48 are comfort and livability, with a clean walkaround layout. Inside there’s two cabins, two bathrooms and a crew cabin with heads. A second layout drops the second cabin for an indoor living area, as northern Europe or American boaters normally prefer.
Solaris Power 48 Open: a brand new thing for Cannes Yachting Festival
In little more than a year since the launch of the first model, Solaris Power have successfully achieved their target of establishing the excellence of the brand’s products in the motor yacht market.
