First in a new range of Explorers, Numarine 40XP concept boasts a peculiar look, good performance, and the excellent build care which is typical of the Istanbul-based shipyard.
Born by the creativity of Can Yalman, the Numarine 40XP keeps all the typical traits of the Turkish boatyard, even more so considering the long time cooperation between the designer and the Company.
The hull is built in steel and the superstructure in light alloy. The inner layout is characterized by some features, such as the full beam master suite with walk-in closet, double bathroom and the terraces opening abow on the port. Accommodation includes two VIP and two guest cabins; while the captain sleeps by the helm deck and the crew has their quarters with mess and three cabins. Then again, four wet bars, gym, sauna, hammam, library, dining lounge, garage, laundry and a professional galley complete the features.
“The explorer segment has registered a big growth – commented Numarine Chairman Omer Malaz -, as expert owners are more and more eager to take long range cruises with a high level of luxury and autonomy. Our high performace range has charming models, but with the 40XP we want to enter another segment. I twill combine our style, the chance of customization, and all the comforts needed for long range navigation”.
Numarine 40XP is 39.80 long and 8.50 wide (130 by 28 ft), with a draft of 2 meters (6ft 6in) for a displacement of 300 tons. Fuel tanks contain 45000 liters, fresh water ones 7500 (11900 and 1980 US gal approx). The powertrain consists of two Caterpillar units,736 Kw each, for a top speed of 14 and a cruise of 12.
