The new 27-meter yacht has been previewed in Miami: Riva 90 Argo carries a mythological name, but the design, technology and luxury features are definitely tangible.
She debuted in Florida, but not during the Miami International Boat Show: the Riva 90 Argo was actually unveiled in the American city the following month, specifically on March 9, during a private party for 200 guests. This new flybridge yacht sports streamlined and dynamic lines, in a 28.49 meters long and 6.50 wide body.
Unmistkably Riva
Argo recalls the family feeling of her two predecessors Riva 100 Corsaro and 110 Dolcevita, from the outside to the interior details. The name, for those who don’t remember it since school times, recalls the first (mythological) boat ever built, which carried the Argonauts lead by Jason in search of the golden fleece.
Born by the cooperation between Officina Italiana Design of Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta, Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee chaired by Ing. Piero Ferrari, and the Group’s Engineering Department, the new unit boasts distinctive elements in the exterior design, such as the large hull windows, the long full-height glazing on the deck and the side stern pillars with crystal surface, to further enhance the aerodynamic profile.
To meet the needs of American owners, the first unit of Riva 90 Argo features a peculiar layout for the cockpit, which houses a wet bar and two settees, two sofas and a coffee table by Paola Lenti.
Waiting to see how the version for the Mediterranean markets will be, please do enjoy the photos of this … fiberglass myth.
