Simrad and B&G instruments now are standard on all new Bavaria boats

Navico, owner of Simrad, B&G and Lowrance brands, has signed a partnership with the German boatyard Bavaria so to feature all the new units with Simrad devices (on motor boats) and B&G (for sail boats). The definition is “standard fit”, something like OEM (original equipment manufacturer).
So, if you buy the new Bavaria R55, you get Simrad NSS evo3, a multifunction display that includes multiple features such as auto pilot control and integrated Chirp sounder with ForwardScan and StructureScan HD sonar. More, it comes with the HD SolarMax display for a clear vision from all angles. Still standard is the Simrad Radar 4GBroadband with zero radiation risk and features such as the shrinking beam to control target separation. It also works in Dual Range (NSE & NSO).

Also interesting is the Track system (which has already been installed on new Bavaria catamarans Nautitech 40 Open and Nautitech 46 Open). This system connects the boat to PCs, tablets and smartphones through which, thanks to the GoFree cloud, you can trace the boat’s position, remotely monitor it, and control all navigation data (route, speed, wind direction etc.) and engine status (fuel consumption, engine hours, liquid level, pressure, temperature etc.)

B&G is the “sister” brand dedicated to sailing boats.
The new Bavaria C57 and Bavaria C65 are equipped exclusively with the B & G Zeus³ multifunction chartplotter, boasting the advanced SolarMax HD display. The boats also feature H5000 instrumentation, combining exclusive sailing features with racing technology.

Last but not for importance, all the boats feature Naviop, an integrated system of the ob board electronics which improves comfort in navigation and at anchor.
